The Sparkling Aperontini

Part Aperol Spritz, part Negroni, part Martini with a bit of a Sicilian twist, we’re calling this our Aperonitini! Made with our Mezzetta® Pitted Italian Castelvetrano Olives, this cocktail is perfect poolside or ringing in the New Year.
- 2 ounces gin
- 1 ounce Aperol
- 1 tablespoon Pitted Italian Castelvetrano Olives brine
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
- Ice
- Sparkling white wine, such as prosecco to fill
- Pitted Italian Castelvetrano Olives to garnish
Instructions
- To a cocktail shaker, add the gin, Aperol, olive brine, bitters and ice to fill. Place on the lid and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Divide the mixture between 2 champagne flutes and add the sparkling white wine to fill. Garnish with a skewer of Mezzetta® Pitted Italian Castelvetrano Olives and serve.
